This is a picture of the Second Stage being hoisted onto the Test Stand for Static Firings. Count the engines. Only the first stage had five. We were 400,000 strong. In the mid-1960's we not only build the biggest rocket in the world, we put 31 men on the Moon without any loss of life. This rocket was named the Saturn V and it was bigger than the Statue of Liberty. This rocket consisted of four stages. I was only one of 2 women who worked on the 1st Stage. There were no other women period.
