I am from Louisiana. I love the food of Louisiana. Boeing hired the very best cooks to man the cafeteria for lunch. The cafeteria was huge-it had to feed thousands. Boeing had brought in many folks from Seattle. They didn't know a crawfish from a boudin (gotcha!) Boudin is a Louisiana sausage.
On Mondays we had red beans and rice with sausage and garlic bread. The Seattle folks absolutely despised that meal. They always left the plant and went into town for lunch on those days. But they loved the Crawfish Etouffe (yum). Believe me the food was wonderful.
The Seattle folks were wonderful, too. Great, friendly people. I even got to talk to one of the genius engineers upstairs on the 2nd floor. But these geniuses always looked very worried. :o) Everything was O.K. but I got the impression that they thought the rocket might blow up any minute. :o)
